FOD Smart Sensor System

The O-Grab 'Bal' prop

The O-Grab Bal is designed to mount the phone immediately, requires minimal actions to use when you get in the car, and the height adjustment of Bal allows wide compatibility of its smartphone wireless charging.

When a phone is mounted, charging automatically begins when you turn on the engine of your car. When you turn off the engine, the stand automatically detaches your phone so you can bring your phone right away.

Accessories for the product

These are 3 types of stands compatible with the O-Grab Bal wireless charger.

If you want other than the basic option of Air-Up + Air vent Mount combination, you can additionally purchase the following accessories.

Center Fascia Holder

This type can be used for the vehicle center fascia. You can attach it not only to the center fascia but also to the dashboard, simply with 3M tapes.

Dash Board Cradle

This type can be used for vehicle dashboards. It can be attached to the vehicle glass as well as to the dashboard, and the gel pad and its adsorption bonding allow changes in the attachment position.

CD Slot Holder

This type can be used for vehicle CD slots. Simply press the PUSH button and plug it into the CD slot to use. It reduces scratches or damage since the insertion surface is made of silicone.

HOW TO USE

A. How to attach the Air-Up and Air Vent Mount

1. Attach the connecting part of Air-Up to the ball of the Air Vent Mount, and fix them by screwing the fixing nut.

2. Attach the main body of the O-Grab Bal wireless charger to the attached Air-up and Air Vent Mount, and fix them by screwing the fixing nut.

(Put the silicone cap on the connection part of the O-Grab Bal and Air-Up Mount.)

B. How to attach the O-Grab Bal wireless charging Stand

1. Insert the O-Grab Bal into the air vent where you want the stand to be installed.

2. Strongly fix it onto the air vent by screwing the air vent holder.

3. Plug in the cable to the O-Grab Bal.

C. How to attach Smartphone (Make sure to place your phone in the center of the product.)

1. Put your phone in the O-Grab Bal with it being opened.

2. FOD sensor automatically recognizes your phone and locks the holder.

3. As the holder locks, your phone is attached and charging will begin.

D. How to detach smartphone

(1) Vehicle whose power is cut off when the car is turned off

 

1. The holder opens as the vehicle is turned off.

2. Take off your phone when the holder is opened.

(2) Vehicle that remains powered when the car is turned off

1. In this case, you should detach it by hand.

2. Touch the sensor on the lower left side of the main body.

3. Take off your phone when the holder is opened.

E. How to attach silicone cap

 

1. When the enclosed silicone cap is attached to the O-Grab Bal wireless charging stand and the Air-Up stand, it strengthens the fixation of the two products.

Guidance for supplying power to the product

  1. If you are using the vehicle's USB, make sure that it supports QC 2.0 or QC 3.0.

  2. If not, it may result in malfunction.

Guidance for wireless charging

  1. The thickness of the smartphone protection case supported is recommended to be within 3mm, up to 5mm. It may be shortened depending on the material of the protective case or how it is attached.

  2. If the wireless charger randomly works, the problem is often solved when you adjust the height of the Bal prop and place the phone in the center of the O-Grab.

  3. In the case of a smartphone with no wireless charging available, a warning sound may sound for 2 seconds or an arm movement abnormality may occur, the reason would be one of the following :

- Smartphones that do not support wireless charging or smartphones with metal bodies

- A smartphone case with a metal frame or all of it

4. If the temperature inside the vehicle increases:

- Charging efficiency decreases above 30℃, and wireless charging stops around 60℃ and the O-Grab Bal stops working around 80℃.

A/S Guidance

[Product defect can be exchanged or returned by period after purchase]

- Within 1 month: Free exchange or return is possible.

- Within 1 to 6 months: Free A/S is possible without any fee required to the customer.

- Within 6 months to 1 year: You can receive A/S by paying the round-trip shipping fee (5,000 won).

[If exchange or return is not possible]

- Accidents, failures, and damages caused by the carelessness of the customer should be repaired outside of the customer service range for a fee.

- If there is a breakage or other problem while using the product, a refund or compensation is possible only when the product abnormality is confirmed.
